The Tuborg Open Music Video, which pairs global artists Diplo and MØ along with Nepali artists Laure and Bipul Chettri, has finally been released.
The track was initially recorded by American producer and DJ Diplo, with Danish singer/songwriter MØ, exclusively for Tuborg Open, Gorkha Brewery said in a statement on Sunday.
The project, according to the company, began in March, when artists Bipul Chettri and Laure flew to Copenhagen to meet with Danish star MØ. In Copenhagen, the artists collaborated to put a unique spin on the final Nepali version of the song.
“Together the three artists created the track, ‘Stay Open’. For the Nepali version of the collaboration, Laure and Chettri rewrote the verses in Nepali, to narrate what staying ‘open’ means to them,” the statement said. “After several months of exchanging ideas and jamming in the studio, Tuborg Open Music Video is out now.”
The global track was released on May 11 this year, followed by a lyric video release in June. The campaign will be supported with on-pack and digital
and will end with a concert featuring Diplo and MØ, as well and our local artists, later in the year in Kathmandu, the company added.
